TLDR: DX ftw!
Payload is (primarily) an open-source headless CMS tool. It's what I use whenever I need a CMS because it's so delightfully focused on DX (developer experience). Anyway, they just released their 3.0 beta and have done some crazy awesome improvements to make things easier to use. Payload is faster, smaller, and has utilized a LOT of community feedback to improve their product.
I'm sharing this because, even if you don't care about Payload, this ~20min video goes through a lot of how and why they improved so many things. They've made some incredible accomplishments and it's a great learning opportunity on how to improve.
